Dear Valued Patrons,
Although my education and professional career took me beyond Bihar, my connection with my village, its people, traditions, and agricultural heritage has always remained deeply rooted. The simplicity of rural life, the resilience of our farmers, and the richness of Bihar's traditional food culture have continued to inspire me throughout my journey.
I was educated at Delhi University and went on to work with several leading corporate organisations, including State Bank of India as Senior Manager – Merchant Acquiring, Bihar; IndusInd Bank as Assistant Vice President – Sales; and Pine Labs as Regional Sales Manager – Bihar & Jharkhand, along with other reputed corporate organisations.
These experiences shaped my professional understanding of leadership, business, technology, sales, and financial services. But they also strengthened my belief that true success is meaningful only when it creates opportunities for others.
With this thought, Mystic Leaf Pvt. Ltd. was established, and Urban-Gramin was created as a brand with a purpose—to connect the richness of rural India with the aspirations of the modern consumer.
Our mission goes beyond selling premium Makhana and other rural products. We aim to improve the living standards of farmers, create sustainable rural opportunities, preserve Bihar's agricultural heritage, and contribute towards educating underprivileged children from rural Bihar.
Today, Urban-Gramin works towards building stronger relationships with farmer communities and bringing authentic products from rural India to consumers with quality, transparency, and pride.
Our vision is to empower 10,000+ farmer families by 2030, while helping take India's traditional superfoods and the rich heritage of Bihar to households across the world.
